We are pleased to announce that 11 Afghan female students are now safe in Malaysia through the ongoing efforts of the Afghan Scout Relief Fund. This milestone builds on earlier success, with more than 30 Afghan students already relocated safely to the United States.
For the past two years, we've worked closely with the Afghan Scout Relief Fund to support young women whose education and safety were placed at risk. Through persistent coordination, international partnerships, and donor support, ASRF continues to create pathways to protection and higher education.
The 11 students now in Malaysia were facing uncertainty and the threat of deportation. ASRF and their team have rescued them and flew them over. Today, they are in a safer environment with the opportunity to continue their studies and rebuild their futures. Education is more than academic advancement for these young women. It represents security, independence, and hope.
This progress reflects the strength of collaboration between volunteers, donors, and advocates who believe that every girl deserves access to education and freedom. With continued community support, ASRF remains committed to expanding safe pathways for Afghan students.
Because of this work, 47 young women are now living in safety and pursuing their education — and their futures.
